These preventable factors represent a glaring indictment of the national health infrastructure. The rise in heart disease and substance misuse disorders has been alarming, leading to a worrying increase in fatalities and a decrease in the quality of life.

The Annual Bloomberg American Health Summit

Addressing the significant health challenges presented at the Seventh Annual Bloomberg American Health Summit were a diverse group of public health practitioners, researchers, government officials, community leaders, and Bloomberg Fellows.
